Bungee Jumping
Bungee jumping in Nepal considered very adventurous activity. People with interest in doing so are welcomed in two different locations. The first location is about 100 km. east of Kathmandu and another location is about 15 km, north of Pokhara. The first bungee is a day trip and second one is just a side trip. For the bungee jumping in Kathmandu one can drive through beautiful scenic route of friendship highway also popular by the name Araniko highway. After the bungee, one can enjoy the lunch provided by the company in the resort and drive back to Kathmandu. There is a weight limit for participating in bungee up to 125 kg. The minimum weight considered is 40 kg though. The jump starts from the central part of the bridge and goes 160m down in the river. This is one of the world’s famous and deepest jumps. The persons participating for bungy are even facilitated to buy video of their jump.
Bungy in Pokhara is different than the first bungee in Nepal. This bungee is first and only tower bungee of Nepal. The bungee offers a 70m vertical drop with 3 seconds of free fall. Both of the bungees are set up and operated by highly professional jump masters from abroad and Nepal. They meet the international safety standard.
