Chisapani to Nagarkot trek is one of the popular trekking located in the northwest part of Kathmandu valley. The trek passes through Shivpuri-Nagarjun national park. The detail itinerary of the trip 

Day 1: Early in the morning drive to Sundarijal, about one and half hour and start walking. The trail ascends at the beginning to reach the reservoir from where they supply the water to Kathmandu. The trail passes through beautiful forest with abundant birds and beautiful waterfalls during monsoon. After crossing the reservoir the trek still ascends to Mulkharka, one of the biggest village of the area. One can stop for lunch at the top of the village. The trail then passes through the dense forest of oak in the ridge and start descending to reach Chisapani (2194m.). Cisapani literally signifies cold water and this is the popular view point of Langtang area. One can see the view of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Phurbigyachu, Gaurishankar and many other snowcapped mountains from here. Overnight stay at Chisapani in tea house.

Day 2: After breakfast, start walking through beautiful trail with the view of the mountains and terraces. The trail maintain more or less same elevation until Jhule and have a sharp descend to reach Chaukibhanjyang. Some small tea houses are located here and one can stop for lunch in this place. The trail continues through the village to reach Jarsingh Pauwa and continue a dirt road to Kattike Bhanjyang. The trail ascends to reach Nagarkot, the popular destination for mountain views with sunrise and sunset. Overnight stay at Nagarkot in guest house or Hotel.

Day 3: Early morning wake up to see the snow capped mountains including Langtang range and Everest range. Some of the popular peaks are Langtang, Dorjelakpa, Numbur, Gauri shankar, Phurbigyachu and Everest in clear weather. After breakfast walk down to Changunarayan and visit Chnagunarayan temple and drive to Kathmandu.
