Detailed Itinerary of the trip

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. As you land in Kathmandu, complete the airport formalities and come out.  Our representative from the company or your tour guide is waiting outside with your name page, as you meet him/her take a transfer and rest of the time free to recover from Jetlag and take a rest.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu that includes Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath and Kapan Monastery. This is one of the highlight of the tour as it takes you to the oldest Buddhist temples and the biggest Buddhist temples located in Kathmandu with one of the popular monastery where people go for meditation.

Day 03: Sightseeing of Kathmandu which includes Pharping and Patan durbar square. Pharping houses a very important cave where Guru rimpoche has done meditation inside when he has taken his journey from India to Tibet. There are some beautiful monasteries and temple for Bajrayogini. Patan durbar square also listed in world heritage sites by UNESCO is full of ancient Bahals and bahis. The main palace complex was a palace but now is one of the most important museums full of archaeologically important objects.

Day 04: Discover Namobuddha. After having breakfast in your hotel can take a drive about an hour and half to reach one of the holy shrines for Buddhist people. Near by the shrine now they have made the important monastery which has almost 300 monks living there permanently.

Day 05: Drive to Lumbini from Kathmandu. A scenic drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini that takes 8-9 hours including some stops for pictures on the way. The drives give opportunity to know the landscape and also give idea of village lifestyles.

Day 06: Discover Lumbini. Lumbini, the birth place of Buddha, besides the temple for Mayadevi, mpther of Buddha it also has a pond where Buddha received his first bath after his birth. Different scholars came to visit Lumbini in different time, when the Emperor Ashoka came he erected a pillar in the western side of the main temple. Different Buddhist countries and communities constructed their own monasteries in Lumbini. Different mosaic zones that include different monasteries and most of the monasteries allowed visitors.

Day 07: Drive from Lumbini to Pokhara. A scenic drive that crosses the flat land of Nepal enters to the foot hills and reaches the most beautiful city of Pokhara. Pokhara is the second biggest city of Nepal in terms of tourism. The spectacular view of Annapurna from Pokhara and lake Fewa  is of major attraction of Pokhara.

Day 08: Visit Pokhara and surroundings. Early morning drive to Sarangkot to see the sunrise and come back to hotel to have breakfast. After breakfast continue sightseeing of Pokhara that includes Seti River George, Bindhyabasini temple, Devi’s fall, Gupteswor cave and world peace pagoda. You can also go to discover Tibetan settlement in Pokhara, Tashiling Tibetan village.  In the afternoon time an hour boat trip to observe the serenity of lake.

Day 09: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. After taking breakfast in the hotel in Pokhara, take a drive in Prithvi highway to Kathmandu. The drive normally takes 7-8 hours. Rest of the afternoon will be free to do shopping and take rest in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu. On a proper time take a transfer to go back to your home country or to another destination.
